From San Angelo Mrs. Eva Miss Laura Tharp. a firm Ixwstcr of the beauty of her home community of Turnersville, played hostess to more than 50 visitors who came to Turnersville Saturday for a tur of the community and its scenic spots. Idea for the visit began last year when Miss Tharp, a retired home demonstration agent, took a bus tour through New England and Nova Scotia with a group of other Texans. She told her fellow tourists aixmt Turnersville and its attractions and invited them to see the community.

Saturday they did, coming by bus and car from Dallas, San Angelo, Waco, Temple und other Texas cities. They visited over the community and also went to Tharp Springs, a picturesque spot which hus been developed into a swimming, fishing and picnic area by Peck Tharp. It's also a fine place to go hiking and sightseeing. Below is Miss Tharp's report of the Saturday doings: WHAT A DAY was March in Turnersville when we had guests for a day's outing with us fin Cooter'a place. Tharp Springs, here in my home, and at the school lunchroom when the following women of the immunity bellied in a big way with preparing and serving the fnd: Mesdanvs A.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Myers and family of Fort Worth and Johnny Myers of Dallas spent the week with relatives here. Mrs. Mike Comer and Misses Carrie and Willie Bland of Gatesville, Mrs.

Bellamy, who used to practice here. rwiations to the memorial fund this month were to Thomas Pone by Mr. and Mrs. Gillie Wallace; to Kittle Cook-sey Lee by Mrs. Frank Kelso, Mrs.

Kd Blair and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Clary; for Mrs. Vema Haferkamp's father by Turnersville Baptist Church, Ellen Balrh, Mat tie Cooper and Florine Kyser. Mrs.

Mabel Foote made a donation to the cemetery fund.
