Turner, am announcing my candidacy for the office of justice of the peace, Precinct 2, Coryell County. feel that I am qualified for this office. I am 51 years old, and have lived in Coryell County nearly all my life. I was stock farmer until I became engaged in the real business eight years ago. In those eight years, I have met most of the people of Coryell County, and feel that most all the residents of Precinct 2 are acquainted with me.

So I make my plea to each and every one of my friends and fellow voters. assure you that your vote will be appreciated and that if I am elected your justice of the peace, I'll give justice to each and every one of my friends or anyone who is brought before me in justice court. It is my aim to contact every voter in the precinct before the July 26 primary. In the meantime, will you please accept this as sincere request for your vote and influence? C. W.

The names of the parties in said suit are: Sam Millsap as Plaintiff, and Sam McCarter as Defendant. The nature of said suit being substantially as follows, to wit: For debt for parts and material furnished and labor and storage on automobile and for foreclosure of Constitutional Lien. If this Citation is not served within 90 days after the date of its issuance, it shall be returned unserved. Issued this the 12th day of April A. 1958.

E. Campbell and children, Phyllis and Mike, visited last week end with and Mrs. Bill Sherwood and family of El Paso. Frank Maxwell Held James Franklin (Frank) Maxwell, 67, Houston policeman, died Sunday in a Galveston hospital following a long illness. He was native and former resident of this counteral services were held at 3 p.

Derrick officiating. Burial was in the Levita Cemetery. Mr. Maxwell, son of the late J. W.

and Laura Maxwell, was born in Levita June 15, 1890. He lived in Coryell County until moving to Houston in 1942. Surviving are three sons, Basil Maxwell of Venezuela, Roy Lee Maxwell of Houston and James Maxwell of Galveston; two daughters, Mrs. J. W.

Riddle of Grants, N. and Mrs. E. R. Latham of Levelland; nine brothers, Ermon Maxwell of Levita, Henry Maxwell of Arnett, Jim Maxwell of Waco, Smiley Maxwell of El Paso, Stoney Maxwell of Waco, Olan Maxwell of Speegleville, Bill Maxwell of Waco, Rady Maxwell of Austin and Grady Maxwell of Dumas; two sisters, Mrs.

Alma Cooper of Waco and Mrs. Don Cooper of Hobbs, N. nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Tri-County Baseball Loops Are Organized Two Tri-County Leagues for this summer's youth baseball play were set up at an organizational meeting in McGregor last Thursday night. The junior league for boys 13 and 14 years old is made up of two teams from Gatesville, two teams from McGregor, one team from Troy and one team from Oglesby.

Competing in the Senior League for boys 15, 16, 17 and 18 years old will be teams from Gatesville, Copperas Cove, Troy and McGregor. The league schedule will begin the first week in June and run through Aug. 1. League officials elected were Otha Johnson of Gatesville, president; Jess Pressler of McGregor, vice president; W. D.

McElvany of Gatesville, secretary; R. M. Arnold of Gatesville, assistant secretary; and B. C. Randolph of Troy, Jim Searcy of Oglesby, Troy Donnell of Copperas Cove, Ramond Collins of McGregor and R.
