Chief of Police Nathan Gohike said the number of calls was an increase of 273 over the. same month a year ago, and the 3,826 calls for the third quarter of the year was 529 more than the same period last year. The number of citations issued in September declined from the previous month, while the third quarter figure is double that of the first quarter of the year.
