The Gatesville Messenger, Saturday, April 14, 2001, Page 3 Bobbie Jean Clayton Bobbie Jean Wilkey Clayton of Waco and formerly of Marlin, died April 5 in a Waco nursing home. She was 65. Funeral services were held Saturday at Adams Funeral Chapel in Marlin with the Rev. Andy Bratcher officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Clayton was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Falls County, the daughter of the late J.B.: and Mattie Atkins Wilkey. She attended Marlin public schools and resided in Houston until moving to Waco several years ago. She was a nursing assistant at the Regis Retirement Center in Waco for many years until her retirement in January.

She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathryn Howell and Wanda Baulch; and a brother, Joe Roy Wilkey. Survivors include her sons, Robert M. Clayton of Gatesville and Michael K. Clayton of Waco; brothers, Harold Wilkey of Riesel and James Wilkey of Marlin; sister, Louise 1 Densman of Waco; and two grandchil- Cleo Davis Cleo K.

Davis, 81, of Waco, died April 6 at a Waco nursing home. Graveside services were held Monday at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Eric Holleyman officiating. Mrs. Davis was born March 11, 1920, in Gatesville.

She was married to Lewis T. (L.T.) Davis for 63 years. He preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 2000. She was a supervisor for many years at J.M.

Woods Manufacturing Company. She was also active in the family business, Krispy Fried Chicken. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Patillo of Robinson; sons, James Davis of China Spring, Lewis Davis of China Spring, and Johnny Davis of Mesquite; sisters, Ollie Lee Cupp of Mesquite and Dedie Mae Younts of Temple, brother, J.T. Hayes of Texarkana; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. William Donald Daniels William Donald Daniels of Copperas Cove died April 5 at the age of 76.

Funeral services were held Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Copperas Cove with Robert Powell officiating. Burial was in Copperas Cove City Cemetery. Mr. Daniels was born Jan. 6, 1925, in Gatesville where he was reared and educated.

He graduated in 1941 from Gatesville High: School. On Dec. 21, 1945, he married Jackie Mae Moran in Belton. She preceded him in death on Jan. 18, 1998.

He was a master electrician for Brown Root Construction, and a real estate broker and home builder in the Copperas Cove and Killeen areas. He later worked as a construction supervisor for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice until he retired. He had lived in Copperas Cove since 1958 and was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include two sons, Larry Daniels and Hank Daniels, both of Copperas Cove; a daughter, Debbie R. Powell of Lago Vista; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was 71. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Bakker Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland with Dr. James Teel officiating.

Interment was in Eastland Cemetery. Mr. Doss was born Dec. 30, 1929, in Vernon to the late Bessie Maude Brooks and Claude Otto Doss. He married Mary Alice Gomez on Dec.

16, 1950, in Mineral Wells. He retired from Featherlite and he was a Presbyterian. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Willard Doss and Milburn Doss; and four sisters, Louise Kelley, Eula Faye Chandler, Nola Hales and Nelva Siedschlag. Survivors include his wife, Alice Doss of Morton Valley; sons, Carl Doss of Austin, and David Doss of Sydney, Australia; daughter, Nancy Doss Shaw of Kerrville; brothers, Hillard Doss of Fort Worth, Travis Doss of Austin, Richard Doss of Carbon and Walter Doss of Arizona; sister, Myrlene Doss Hopkins of Gatesville; and five grandchildren. For those desiring, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Big Country, 4601 Hartford, Abilene, TX 79605.

Pennie Ann Henderson Pennie Ann Henderson of Stockdale died April 6 at the age of 48. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Seguin with the Rev. Wallace Schultz, the Rev. Harry West and the Rev. Hilton Gillespie officiating.

Burial was in Stockdale Cemetery. Mrs. Henderson was born March 31, 1953, in San Antonio. She married Terry Henderson on March 4, 1977. She was a horse trainer and a member of the Guadalupe Valley Quarter Horse Association, the Alamo Quarter Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association.

She was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Pennie Mobley and George and Minna Tschirhart. Survivors include her husband, Terry Henderson of Stockdale; father, James Mobley of Kenner, LA; mother Gloria Mobley of Waco; daughter, Traci Henderson of Stockdale; son, Ryan Henderson of Stockdale; sister, Sandie Meagher of Gatesville; nephew, Wesley Ottinger of Waco; and niece, Tiffanie Meagher of Gatesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pennie Henderson Medical Fund at the Security State Bank, P.O. Box 97, Stockdale, TX 78160.

Correction In the list of survivors in the Ara Dorsey Powell obituary that ran in the April 7 edition, Roxie Logan was listed as Roxie Powell. We regret the error. 'Sonrise' service slated Sunday at Sweet Home Baptist Church Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, 511 North 14th Street, will host an Easter "Sonrise" service at 6 a.m. Sunday. Seven speakers will present 7-10 minute expositions on the "Seven Last Sayings of Christ on the Cross." Speakers include Curtis Benson, Perry Garrett, Charlie Cahee, Leonard Wills Willie Knox Tai Gilbert and Dr.

Willie Clarke. Breakfast will be served after the Sonrise service, followed at 9 a.m. with an Easter program and at 10:15 a.m. with the morning worship service. The church will have no afternoon or evening services on Sunday.
