T. Rogers, 81, a retired barber who had lived in Gatesville 50 years, died at 3:45 p. m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in the local hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Kenneth Patrick, were held at 4 p. m. Saturday in Scott's Funeral Home chapel. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.

Allen Thurman Rogers was born at Levita on May 30, 1888, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rogers, prominent Levita couple. He was reared in Augeri Is Student At TSTI in Waco WACO Joseph V. Augeri is attending the Connally Tech campus of the Texas State Technical Institute in Waco.

Augeri is a second-year student majoring in civil and highway technology. He and his wife, Karen, live in Oglesby. He is the son of Victor Augeri of Oglesby, Through an act by the 61st Texas Legislature, James Connally Technical Institute evolved into the Texas State Technical Institute with campuses in Waco, Amarillo and Harlingen. Connally Tech offers 54 different courses of study. Two thousand students are enrolled for the fall trimester on the Waco campus.
