The Gatesville Messenger, Saturday, July 31 2004, Page 7 The jZ. July 25 Mrs. Pat Woodson Mrs. Pat Woodson, age 95, of Gatesville, died Sunday, July 25, 2004, in a local nursing home. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m.

Tuesday, July 27, at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville with the Rev. David Diggs officiating. Woodson was. born to the late Joseph Franklin and Mamie (Brookshier) Millaway on November 28, 1908, in Guthrie, Texas. Her family moved to Coryell County when she was a small child.

She married Robert Lee Woodson, a Coryell County native, on March 19, 1925. They made their home in the Ewing community near Gatesville. When Camp Hood claimed their home in 1942, the family moved to the Arnett community, where they lived until 1951, at which time they settled in the Fort Gates area. Pat was a long-time member of Live Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Woodson; and two grandchildren, Johnny Fowler and Patricia Woodson.

She is survived by six children, R.L. Woodson Virginia Fowler and Betty Byrom, all of Gatesville, Marianne Voss of Lake Belton, Jack Woodson of Haughton, Louisiana, and Mike Woodson of Waco; one sister, Elizabeth Bigley of Joplin, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to VistaCare (Hospice), 2626B S. 37th Temple, TX 76504; or to Live Oak Baptist Church, 113 FM 107, Gatesville, TX 76528. little red car with four or five females in it throwing things at cars in the 2400 block of East Main Street.

July 24 12:52 a.m., a man was arrested on East Hwy. 84 at the city limits and charged with drag racing and failure to give his drivers license. 1:30 a.m., a man reported three male juveniles ran across the highway and into a storage facility area at East Hwy. 84 and Business Hwy. 36.

2:16 a.m., a woman reported a car following her on West Main Street. 4:39 a.m., a woman reported a suspicious pickup sitting in the middle of the road on South 19th Street. 8:03 a.m., a woman in the 1600 block of Waco Street reported her boyfriend had been beating on her, but she refused to file charges. 8:52 a.m., a man was informed it was a civil matter after he reported to police that everything was missing from an apartment in the 1400 block of Bridge Street even though the locks had been changed and a lien had been placed on the furnishings the day before. 9: 13 a.m., a woman in the 1600 block of West Main Street reported a theft.

11:31 a.m., a 23-year-old man was arrested in the 2400 block of Main Street and charged with as-' sault after his wife reported he had assaulted her and took her. 2:00 p.m., a woman in. the 300 block of Carroll Drive reported her' husband had hit her. 2:21 p.m., a man in the 600 block of South 14th Street reported the burglary of a building. 4:45 p.m., a man in the 800 block of Golf Course Road reported a domestic disturbance.

10:34 p.m., a woman in the 2500 block of Bridge Street reported someone had switched bicycles with her son. 10:5 1 p.m., a woman reported a golf cart driving up and down the roads at Ash Street and Straws Mill Road. July 25 9:56 a.m., a woman fft the 2500 block of Jackson Drive was advised on how to get a restraining order against her husband. 10:01 a.m., a woman in the 900 block of South Lovers Lane asked to speak to an officer about a trespassing matter. 12:27 p.m., a baby was transported to the hospital emergency room after suffering a smashed finger in a door at a home in the 2100 block of Waco Street.

1:10 p.m., a woman was arrested in the 1600 block of Waco Street and charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly went to another woman's house with a knife and hammer and threatened her July 26 12:04 a.m., a woman at a business in the 4600 block of South Hwy, 36 reported her sister had threatened her after she refused to sell her beer after hours. 2:19 a.m., a woman reported a black Explorer driving up and down Valley View Estate playing loud music. 4:43 p.m., a woman reported a hit-and-run accident at the corner of 7th and Saunders streets. 10:54 p.m., a man reported four or five girls throwing things out of a window at cars at the intersection of Main Street and Business Hwy. 36..

5:38 p.m., the Lampasas County Sheriff's Department notified local authorities they were involved in a pursuit on Hwy. 281 near Evant.
