Graham was born April 21, 1909, in Gatesville, the son of the late William Abner and Idella Pearl Graham. W.A. Graham's grandfather, Gideon Graham and his father, Jesse Abner Graham, were early Coryell County settlers, coming to Texas about 1850. At the time of Bill Graham's birth, his father ran a horse and mule barn near the old Powell building.

In 1912, the family moved to the farm in the Hay Valley community where Graham still re Mil if m' A ff i sv v. and Mrs. Raymond Wenzel of Hamilton and the late Mr. and Mn. Joe C. Faubion of Ireland.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Floy Cooper of Gatesville and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Caverly of Dover, NH.

The future bride is a graduate of Gatesville High School and is employed by the U.S. Post Office. The future groom is a graduate of Gatesville High School and is employed at JC BarCharles Graham Cattle Co. The couple plan a 5 p.m. ceremony June 6 at May vows planned Mark and Lola Lam of Deer Park and Travis and Vivian Moore of Gatesville announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Alisa Moore, to Philip Gregory, of Gatesville, son of Tommy and Ellen Gregory of Roanoke.

The future bride is a graduate of Clear Lake High School and is employed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The future groom is a graduate of First Baptist of Haltom City and is employed by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. The couple plan a 5:30 p.m. wedding May 8 at the First United Methodist Church of Gatesville. Jordyn Gail Boen born April 18 the Church of God on State School Road in Gatesville.

A reception will follow the ceremony. Terry Mooney is senior party honoree mother, Renee Mooney, and his great-grandmother, Gladys Snyder. Guests included Leisha Cullar, The reunion was hosted by Graham's daughters and sons-in-law: Billie and Curt Apel, Linda and Ron Launder, and Jodie and Fred Trainor. A total of 95 relatives attended, coming from Texas, California, Oklahoma, New York, Kansas and Ohio. Claudine Graham Boyd of Gatesville, Graham's only surviving sister, was an honored guest.

She will celebrate her 98th birthday on July 29. Also present were Graham's first cousins. Mack and his wife Bentley Graham of Hillsboro, and Margie Brown Bucy of Brownwood. Numerous descendants of Ollie Graham Gilmer, Bill's late sister, and of Allen Graham, Bill's late brother, were present. Also attending were seven grandchildren and seven of Bill Graham's 10 great-grandchildren.

Special guests included 22 members of the Etchison family (the late LaVern Graham's family) and Louise Graham's son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mildred Holcomb of Lawton, OK. Linda Launder, Graham's daughter, welcomed guests to the reunion, and each family was introduced. Tony Apel, Graham's grandson, provided the blessing for the meal. "Following the meal, Louise Graham entertained with several piano selections. The celebration continued throughout the afternoon and concluded that evening with a cook-out at the Graham family farm.

She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20 14 inches long.

She was welcomed home by a brother, Justin, 9, and a sister, Jenna, Grandparents are Kirby and Nancy Pruitt of Austin and Edwin and Lydia Boen of China Spring. Great-grandmothers are Ruby Lee Maxwell and Tobe Pruitt, both of Gatesville. Melissa Medart, Suzanne White, Kyle Hardin, Josh Godfrey and Chris Cockrell. A sports trivia contest was held and the. winners of $10 prizes were Hardin and the honoree.
