I use it in my car to record work mileage, which can be a mundane task every time I get into the car and go somewhere. The booklet is a necessary and constant reminder that I need to record where I am going and how many miles I will travel once I arrive at my destination. This daily routine is not the highlight of my life! It is like a lot of things in life. can become lied to routines and to duties and forget the beauty around us. This pocket calendar has on every page and I confess that on most days I forget to look up the page and read the quote or saving.

The revival has been an on going effort all this week. College students helping lead the revival are R. graduating from Gatesville High School. He was employed with Civil Service as a locksmith at Fort Hood for 14 years. On June 10, 1984, he married R'LucBrosko. Mr Rauschenberg Mrs. Mrs.

James (Wilma) Bell of Jonesboro died July 26. in her home. She was 71. Services were held Friday at Scott's Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Dyer officiating Burial as in Ater Cemetery.

Mrs. Bell was bom Aug. 21, 1922. in Port Arthur, daughter of the late Adincl and Mary Singleton. She was reared and attended school in Groves, before moving to Coryell County in 1936.

She graduated with honors from Gatesville High School, and she attended McLennan Community College. She married James Bell on Jan. 3. 1941, and they made their home in Wood ay Mr. Summers J.W.

Summers of Coleman died Friday in a Coleman hospital. He was 78. Services were held Sunday at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial was in Coleman Cemetery.

Mr. Summers was born Aug. 20, 1915. in Gatesville. son of the late Franklin Walker and Alma Berry Summers.

He grew up in Gatesville where he graduated from Gatesville High School. He attended Draughan's Business College in Fort Worth. During World War II. he served in the Pacific Theater with the U.S. Army.

Mr. Summers married Dorothy Sleenin Bryan in 1940. He worked for 44 years with Perry Brothers, working in Childress and Bryan, and was manager of Perry's in Coleman from 1951 until he retired. Ve was a long-time member of the Lions Club, serving as president several times, and received several awards and citations from them. Mr.

Summers was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coleman. Survivors include his wife. Mrs. Dorothy Summers; two sons, James William Summers of Clyde, North Carolina, and John William Summers II of Bastrop; and three grandchildren. SPORTS PHYSICALS Aug.

she was a member of the McLennan County Extension Service and First Baptist Church of Wood way. She later changed her membership to Hay Valley Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Good Sam's Club. Survivors include her husband; two sons. Lon Bell of Jonesboro and James A.

Bell of Hewitt; one brother. Clyde Singleton of Garland; and one granddaughter. The family requests memorials be made to the American Lung Association. Mr. Boyer James E.

Bocr of Nile. Ohio, father of Mary Lou Kaibas of Gatesville, died July 28. He wasKS Services were held Saturday at Joseph Rossi Funeral Home in Nile. Ohio. Internment was in Crown Hill Burial Park.

He was born May 15. 1909. in Bcllaire. Ohio, son of lite laic William Garfield and Leono Hutchison Boyer. He lived in Niles since 1933.

Mr. Boyer worked as a mechanic for McDonald U.S. Steel for 36 years, retiring in 1970. On Nov. 17,1 934.

he married the former Lucille Robinson. He enjoy ed gardening and woodworking. Mr. Boyer was a member of the Mahoning Chapter 394 Masonic Lodge, and First United Methodist Church of Niles. He was preceded in death by two sons.

William Boyer and Roy Lee Boyer. a brother. Charles Boyer. and two sisters. Mrs.

Marie Robinson and Mrs. Hael Beaudry. Survivors include his wife; two daughters. Mrs. Michael (Mary Lou) Kaibas of Gatesville and Mrs.

Michael (Shirley) Capparell of Warren. Ohio; 1 6 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Mr. Ayers worked for Rohm-Haas Chemical Company in Deer Park as Chemical Operator for 24 years before retiring in 1981. After his retirement, they returned to Gatesville. He worked for the Veterans Affairs Office in Temple and Houston for a short time. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S.

Army, and was a past member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Pasadena. Mr. Ayers attended Live Oak Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife. Mrs.

Rachel Ayers; two daughters. Sharon Porter of Houston and Karen Thibodaux of Dallas; three sons. Loney Ayers of Flat. Eddie Ayers of Fort Worth and Ronald Ayers of Tyler; two step-sons. Kerry Martin of Indonesia, and Kenneth Martin of St.

Louis. Missouri; two sisters. Juanita Price of Gatesville and Mary Hincsley Lowrey of Hico; 27 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers were Bobby Bell. Brad Bell.

Billy Landau. Gary Blanchard. Chess Necessary. Kenneth Martin and Jerry Bob Price. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Price Sibyl L. Price of Gatesville. a long-time Postal Service employee here, died July 25 in a local hospital. He was 81.

Services were held July 28 at Scott's Funeral Home with Rev. Rei Tilly officiating. Burial was in Rcstland Cemetery. He was born October 28. 19 1 2.

ta the wing community of Coryell County, son of the late Joseph' Milton and Clato Price. He was reared in the Ewing community and attended school both there and in Gatesville. graduating from Gatesville High School. He married Miss Juanita Ayers on Oct. 12.

1935. Mr. Price farmed in his early years, and worked for Berrywinkle Food Store and later PtW Food Store before entering the military. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

and following his discharge, returned to Coryell County where he began a career with the U.S. Postal Service, starting out as a city carrier, and later becoming a rural mail carrier. He retired in 1 979 after 29 12 cars of service. Mr. Price was very active through the years with his community, devoting time to civil defense.

Red Cross, and Scouting. He was a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award from the Heart O' Texas Boy Scout Council, and was named Gatesville 's Citizen of the Year in 1961. the third person to receive this award. His favorite hobby was woodcarving. Mr.

Price was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his fare mi. a sister. Sarah, a brother. and a great-grandson.

Mildred Price, botk of Gatesville; five sons. J.B. (Jerry) Price of Killecn. Charles F. Price of Spring.

S.L, Price Jr. and Gary Price, both of Mesquite. and Butch Price of Thousand Oaks, California; 11 grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. Pallbearers were Jcb Price. Cameron Price.
