Lizzi Wood, John Howell, Kevin Cupps and Angie Wood had supper Saturday night in Temple. Emma Blakley spent the weekend with her grandparents, Jerry and Brenda Helms. Daren Moore of Gatesville and Jim Moore went dove hunting on Labor Day in Fairy. Robert Pruett has been a patient in Scott and White Hopsital in Temple.

He has returned home. Sharon, Michael and Summer Anderson of Farmington, MM, Jered Anderson of Houston, Bobby Pruett and children of Dallas and Mark Montoya spent a week in Mound with Robert Pruett and Jackie and Jeannetta Spencer and family. Scott, Karen, Ragen, Courtney and Kasey Cummings of Moody were Sunday dinner guests of Don and Sue Jones. Sue Jones and Helen and Debbie Piller had lunch on Twenty-six family and friends celebrated Hopson's 80th birthday and Barbara Hopson's 46th birthday with a luncheon on Sunday. Bryce Barnett of Hay Valley, Meredith Hamilton of Gatesville, Paul Hopson of Stephen-ville and David and Path Hopson attended the United States Team Roping Championships in Tunica, MS, during the Labor Day weekend.

David and Paul Hopson and Bryce Bamett participated in the team roping event. Lisa Owen of College Sta-tion visited last weekend in Mound with Amanda Hopson. Liz McCorkle spent a few days in Round Rock with Patrick, Kelli, Jacob and Ethan Casey: Frank, Susie and McKenzie Hopson attended a Labor Day weekend roping in Hamilton, where Frank participated in the team competition. Mark McPherson participated in the team roping in Tuesday at a Gatesville restaurant. Don, Sue and Brack Jones attended the Eakin family reunion over the weekend in Ruene.

Ricky and Glenda Dunn and Fredda Johnson of Robinson, Kari and Tristan Hopson and Kennedie Hyde visited on Labor Day with Truett, Lois and Barbara Hopson. Kent Schiller of Tyler, Allen Easterwood of Temple, David Parrish and Dave Helbert of Glenview, Jill Douglas of Waco, Helen Bomar and Janice Douglas of Belton were weekend guests of Clara Bomar. Happy Turpin visited with Jack Sutton of Oglesby, Preacher Cole of Flat and Lavine Whitaker of Gatesville over the weekend. Those visiting over the Labor Day weekend with J.W. and Jo Brown and Susie Hignight were Kevin, Allison and Regan Pitcock of Ft.

Waiting for a call Volunteers manned the phones at the Gatesville pledge center during the annual Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Labor Day Telethon. Jamboree is coming back! City auditorium to serve as music backdrop GHS Class of '96 seeks grads The Gatesville Jamboree is being revived and the first program is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at the Gatesville City Auditorium.

At the request of Mike Kuzenka, the Gatesville City Council last month waived the usual fees for use of the auditorium to allow for the monthly jamboree, which will be held on the third Friday of each month. Kuzenka and the New Country Sounds will host the monthly event. There is no admission charge and the public is encour The Gatesville High School graduating class of 1 996 is looking for former classmates. The class will host a reunion Friday, Sept. 22 during the Gatesville High School homecoming weekend.
