THE GATISVniE MISSENGO, TITHED A.Y, AUGUST 8, l-'S Afternoon Ceremony Unites Lisa Godfrey, Fred Daschofsky r- were Dan Elledge. Rev. Wayne Best and Dean Edwards, all of Gatesville and Fred Maness of Waco. David Meis, Keith Haynes. Hershal Mooney and Jeff Adams, cousin of the bride, were ushers.

Ringbearer-was Terry Mooney. A reception was held following the ceremony in the Trinity Annex. The individual tables were laid with pink cloths and centered with begonia plants and pink and white balloons. Balloons were also attached to the walls of the room. The bride's four layer white cake was decorated with white and pink roses.

The bridegroom's carrot cake with white icing was inscribed with "Whither Thou Goest, I Will Go." Both cakes were made by Loretta Elledge, sister of 'the bridegroom. Carolyn Gallaway of Houston and Miss Deborah Gammill of Austin. For going away, the bride chose a teal blue silk dress with matching accessories. After a week's honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Daschofsky are living in Gatesville, where they are both employed.

Celia Campbell McGregor of Austin was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Renee Mooney of Gatesville, cousin of the bride, Miss Krista Godfrey of Gatesville, sister of the bride, Mrs. Denise Man-daville and Mrs. Katherine Beechner of Austin.

They wore aqua blue taffeta tea-length dresses, each a different style with aqua organza headpieces and white lace gloves. Each carried a nosegay of pink roses. Mrs. McGregor designed and made all the bridesmaids' headpieces; and also flowers for the wedding. Flower girls were Sherry, E-lizabeth and Jessica Elledge, nieces of the bride and bridegroom.

They wore pink satin dresses trimmed with white lace and carried white lace flower baskets. Robert Beechner of Austin served as best man. Groomsmen Miss Elisabeth Godfrey be-sky in a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, July 20, at the Trinity Baptist Church of Gatesville. Rev.

David Crosby and Rev. Ruby Gajcwski officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Godfrey of Gatesville.

Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Alan Daschofsky, also of Gatesville. Mrs. Marcy Mart registered the guests.

Mrs. Dona Gallagher and Ms. Sheila Burt directed the reception and wedding. qf The altar was decorated with crystal and silver candle sticks holding white tapers, palms, ivy and Boston ferns. Family pews were marked with pink satin bows.

Prelude music included praise songs by DeElva Pruitt and Jonathan Ford. Mrs. Kari Dingier of Odessa, pianist, played processional music which included "For Elise" and "Paris Nocturne." Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Ford read excerpts from "Song Of Solomon" during the processional.

Music during the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Dingier, Miss Pruitt and David Meis. Escorted by her father, the bride was given in marriage by her mother and father. She wore a white satin gown that she had designed and was sewn by Mrs. S.

Mrs. Lord is the former Elizabeth Hill. Guests were greeted bv the bride, and Mrs. Neil C. Hill and Mrs.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs.

Nell Shirley of Waco and Carroll Shirley of Gatesville, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Joe Shirley also of Gatesville. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Gray of Robinson.
